I am looking for information on the BIRMINGHAM family. They moved
to MO from Lincoln cty, TN. Margaret BURMINGHAM had several son: ALANSON,
WILLIAM HENRY HARRISON, MARTIN A , ALFRED all born in TN. They moved to Wayne
Cty, MO around 1860 and can be found in the 1860 census. But I have found in
war papers that William H H Birmingham lived in Iron Cty, MO with his family.
He was married to MINERVA CATHERINE HANDLEY GRANT. They had several children:
JAMES, JANE, EDWARD, ELLEN, ELISA, FRANCIS, WILLIAM. ALFRED BIRMINGHAM married
SARA JANE PHILIPPS in Iron Cy, MO Some of the family was married in St Louis
MO. and that is where Cathrine Died. They are related to the GARRISON'S of St
Louis. The ones who owned the RAILROAD.

information on my gg-grandparents, William Carrol BYRD (b. ~1816 Stewart Co.
TN) and Margaret Elizabeth BYRD (b.~ 1830 place?) listed in the 1860 census
for Brunot, SE Iron Co. MO. Questions: what was her maiden surname? When/where
did she die after March, 1863 and where is she buried? Was one of their sons,
Andrew Jackson BYRD (b. 1857) actually born in Pilot Knob, MO as per his death
certificate filed in Fredericksburg, Texas? Why did an Iron Co. J.P., D.W.
SHAVER, first buy their land in 1860 and then sell it back to them for one
dollar in March of 1863 - was Wm. Carrol BYRD a Confederate soldier or what,

I am looking for Solomon B.JACKSON information. He was married to Susannah
E. SIFFORD, March 2, 1831 in Cape G. He is said to be a cousin to Pres. Andrew
Jackson per a letter written to Solomon. Sons of Solomon were named Nathan,
Aaron, and Ancil. There is a Nathan JACKSON in Wayne Co. 1830-1840. Family
tradition says Solomon married several times for his sons said they had
half-brothers in TN and or MO. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated.

Seeking
information concerning John FLOYD, shown on the 1840 census for Wayne County,
MO. Could he have been the husband of the widowed Sarah FLOYD who appears on
the 1850 Butler County, MO census? I am seeking any information concerning
what might have happened to Sarah's spouse after they moved from TN to MO
prior to 1840. Sarah Floyd married William H. Booton on 12 May 1850 in Butler
County, MO. I believe they had a son, Valentine Booton, in about 1853. Willaim
H. Booton may have died prior to 1854.

I am
searching for information on Matthew N. Ijames and his brother John Ijames.
Both were born in Davie County, NC- John in 1835 and Matthew in 1843. John
moved to Missouri before the War Between the States and was in Co. J, 47th
Missouri Regt. Matthew was in Co. F, 13th NC Regt. After the war, he moved to
Wayne Co. MO to live near John on the Black River. I know he was a farmer,
school teacher, constable and judge. Information I have says John died in 1873
at Moss's Ferry, MO. and that he lived at Mill Spring. I am interested in the
children of these men, Matthew's death date and place of burial, and any other
information.
